To my Fans and Supporters:
After much thought and deliberation, I decided to terminate my racing relationship with Charles Jarvis Racing on Tuesday, June 9th.
Although you will hear a number of truths and untruths,
I have always been fully committed to our race team and enjoyed a racing relationship with Charles Jarvis Racing since 2007. However, the time had come when I could no longer enjoy the sport I love and also work within. My decision to bring our racing relationship to an end is in the best interest of both parties because the combination was no longer working and we had arrived at a stage where none of us could reach an agreement to move forward.
In the end, I was no longer comfortable with many of the unilateral decisions that were made and actions that were taken in regard to our racing program and/or in my best interest professionally. It is very unfortunate that the situation was escalated to dissolution of our racing program.
I am confident that the right decision was made and I want to thank everyone who has voiced his or her tremendous support to me both professionally and personally. Much appreciation and gratitude to all of you from my crew, my family and myself.
